delight

do the chicken dance.

it’s 7:40 and cayman and i have already been up and gone to chick-fil-a for a FREE biscuit.  we feel like the whole world needs to know we were the FIRST one’s inside the store wearing our pajamas and all.  before we left we did the chicken dance, the chicken BISCUIT dance and then promptly upon our return to our little house we did the coffee dance.  all of these dances require enormous amounts of practice, but if you would like to learn or witness these moves, just ask.  we’ll be more than happy to share them with you.

this week i’ve had the sweet pleasure of spending the afternoon with two friends who are about to be married in november and another in december.  and then last night i went to one of my greatest friends house where they have just had a little baby girl.  what a beautiful thing to be reminded of the grace of Christ.  sitting looking at little bella’s hands and nose and little lips is a reminder that we serve a God of the details.  this Jesus is in the details of everything…just look around you.
